Tweet, Tweet, Tweet……no that is not the sound of nature outside your window, that is the sound of Twitter, another “social networking” tool that is taking the world by storm.
The team has heard about this for some time now but never took the plunge thinking “Oh no, not another Facebook wannabe.” So how does Twitter separate itself from its competator online web communities, such as Facebook or MySpace?
Well since the team is very new and fresh to the whole Twitter scene we can tell you this. Twitter is basically like a quickedit mini blog that individuals can share little notes with other community members. The other community members are “followers” to you, which basically means their little status note shows up in your feed. You can also “follow” other community members and yes even famous people are Tweeting…..did you see Ashton Kutcher’s latest Tweet?
